Shell Brent Charlie Load-in Success at Able Seaton Port
Able UK want to express our thanks and appreciation to the teams of Allseas, Mammoet, Able UK and Shell for making the 31,000Te Brent Charlie Topside a successful load-in operation.
The excellent co-ordination between the companies has led to an incident and accident free event.
From the arrival of the Iron Lady on Saturday 20th July to it leaving on Friday 26th July, the teams collaboratively worked safely mooring and grounding the barge, then expertly skidding-in this huge structure onto it’s final set down position with great communication, following months of meticulous planning and discussions.
Well done to all involved. Now Able UK move onto the surveys and recycling phase of the works.
