Able UK featured on the BBC Rare Earth Show on BBC Radio 4

On the 28th June, Able UK was proud to be featured on the BBC Rare Earth Show on BBC Radio 4 on the episode “Can an oil rig be a nature reserve?”. The show asked the question “What should we do with our old oil rigs?”

As ABLE is one of the most adept organisations in the world when it comes to the decommissioning and recycling of end of life oil rigs, vessels and marine structures, we were joined at our Able Seaton Port facility by the presenter Helen Czerski. Helen discussed the process and skills required to decommission large Oil & gas assets including the Brent Field with ABLE’s Andrew Jacques and Luke Donnelly.
